Pleade 3.5 demonstration's website

This website is build upon a standard installation of the business software Pleade 3.x.

Pleade aims to simplify data dissemination and querying of finding aids (XML-EAD) through a web interface. With it, you will be able to take full advantage of the work done by archivists.

It provides a business solution, with user-friendly interface (tree view, indexes, etc.) and powerful search tools (filters, complex queries, advanced forms, etc.) to help you find what you are looking for.

To be able to publish documents, you must sign in first. Once your EAD documents have been published, you can search into, query or navigate them and much more.

Plead also provide:

  • a cross-platform installation ;
  • support for the Open Archives Initiative (OAI) Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH). For instance, it's possible to integrate our research tools into an external portal.
  • support for EAC standard which allows to describe, in a structured way, creators of archival materials.
  • a powerful search engine for XML documents, but also capabilities to import non-EAD documents such as library catalogs, *.xls, *.csv files, etc.

You can freely explore this website to learn more about our solution or ask for details through the contact page.
